Hawaiian 290

Hawaiian 290 is designed to prepare students to serve as Hawaiian

language and cultural resources on campus and in the community

through hands-on learning

experiences.

Application of 'āina- based learning, mo'olelo, and personal reflections will serve as the basis for communicative activities in class. In earning HAW 290 course credits, students will fulfill the KapCC language requirement and receive an academic subject certificate

in 'ōlelo Hawai'i.
